The journey.

From flights to accommodation, research, equipment and even entertainment, Hyundai Help for Kids is there to lend a helping hand when it’s needed most - keep scrolling to learn more about our key areas of support.

Diagnosis.

From the very beginning.

Little Wings

Flies sick children and their families living in country New South Wales to and from specialised treatment in Sydney, reducing the strain by keeping life as ‘normal’ as possible during the very toughest of times.

Kids Research Institute

Improves children’s health outcomes and drives excellence in paediatric care at Australia’s largest Children’s Hospital at Westmead – a ‘world leading translational research centre for children’. The job of diagnosing a disease – fully understanding the ways to spot it – is equally as important as treating it and curing it.

Treatment.

The tough times.

Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation

“100% survival for all children with cancer and prevention of their suffering” is what we’d like to help Steven Walter Children’s Cancer Foundation achieve through the Hyundai Help for Kids Cancer Research Project – a clinical trial focused on the discovery, development, and exposure of new treatments focused on children with cancer and leukaemia.

Clown Doctors

Clown Doctors entertain sick kids in hospital and are now part of regular life in all major children’s hospitals across Australia. The spirits of even the sickest children are lifted by the presence of these highly skilled professionals – and medical experts can see that recovery is aided as a result.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia

Ronald McDonald Houses across Australia provide a home away from home for sick children and their families during treatment. Staying at a Ronald McDonald House makes life as easy as possible during times of need by keeping families together, because families are stronger together.

Support.

Through every stage.

Make A Wish Australia

Making dreams come true not only gives hope, but strength and joy – not only to seriously ill children, but to their families and friends as well. The benefits are tangible and powerful.

Hyundai

Utilising the rights and entitlements of Hyundai’s corporate/regional sponsorships to provide value adds and money can’t buy experiences to our Hyundai Help for Kids recipient families.

Empowerment.

Beyond illness.

Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children - Teleschool Program

RIDBC strives to achieve the best possible outcomes for current and future generations of Australians using the latest communication technology to bring world-class education and assistance to visual- and hearing-impaired children in remote areas.

Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation – Cervical Cancer Awareness Program in Schools (CCAPS)

The cliché tells us that prevention is better than cure. ACCF’s vision is to ensure young people understand cervical cancer and know how to protect themselves from it, thus helping eliminate the disease before it’s there.

Life Education Australia

Life Education Australia believes that all children deserve to lead safe and healthy lives. By placing preventative education at the core of their work, they want to instil in children the confidence to make safer and healthier choices, both now and in the future.

New beginnings.

Bear Cottage

Not every story on this journey has a happy ending. In fact, every year, hundreds of stories about seriously ill children have the worst endings of all. We do not forget the gravely ill children who have life limiting conditions, and the families who must not only cope with the inevitable, but somehow start again when their precious loved one is gone. Hyundai Help for Kids proudly supports the Play Program at Bear Cottage, which provides fun activities for kids and their families in an environment that makes the most of every precious moment.
